Alexander previously served as Principal of David L. Mackenzie Elementary/Middle School, overseeing more than 1,100 students at Michigan's largest Pre-K through Middle School facility. Under his leadership, the school transformed from struggling to high-performing, demonstrating his ability to drive systemic improvement.
His background includes serving as Education Program Officer at The Skillman Foundation, where he managed the 'Good Schools: Making the Grade' initiative, awarding $2.5 million to 129 schools. He has also worked as a consultant for Pearson Education and served as Senior Regional Director managing multiple school budgets.
As a founding leader of Stepping Stone Academy in Buffalo, NY, and co-founder of Paul Roberson Academy where he taught math and reading, De'Angelo has championed efficient administration processes that create nurturing school environments focused on hands-on education.
